Residential Bed Sizes Library (Plan View)

About this Library

The Residential Bed Sizes Library is a time saving collection of standard bed sizes in plan view useful for residential bedroom layout and space planning. These 24, clean, simple graphics, include all the standard bed sizes from bunk beds to king size and everything in-between. The time you save hunting and pecking around the web or trying to draw these items can't compete with the great value the Residential Bed Sizes Library offers for US$25! Read the rest of this article to check out the details.

  • Side Table 18x18
  • Side Table 31x18

That's just a little over one dollar for each component - consider how long it would take to draw each component and the cost benefit becomes pretty obvious.

Each bed includes one version with a head board and one version without. Why? Because the head board takes up space and you need to know that when laying out a room! We've used a value of 3" but you can edit the head board to be any thickness you like if necessary. We've also taken into account that a bed is never pushed right up against a wall - it just never happens and that also cuts into the available room space. That's why the insertion point for every bed is 2" away from the head board or 2" away from the edge of the mattress if there is no head board.

Of course, each component is drawn using 'real objects' - not LINES! In fact, the beds are drawn with rounded rectangles because we've never seen a mattress or head board with square corners in the real world. That means every object can be filled with a color, fill pattern or hatch pattern if you'd like to take these to the next level and use them in an interior rendering. Colors and Fills can be from any source including our very own Color Portfolio Volume 1 INTL URL collection of custom color fill patterns.
