Changes to dwg.
Going to dwg groups remain on the same layer that they were in PowerCADD. The group hierarchy is maintained. Going to PowerCADD blocks (groups) remain on the same layer in PowerCADD that they were in dwg. The exception is blocks that span layers.
Groups do not span layers in PowerCADD. Coming from dwg blocks that span layers abide by your option setting to place on layer zero or to explode the block to individual layers. The group hierarchy is maintained if the group is put on layer zero. Or the block spanning layers is exploded and the objects are put on their respective layers.
The proof dwg was sometimes at a scale that did not fit a letter size page.

Fills and hatches coming from dwg were disconnected at 8.0.9 because they often produced problems and undesirable results.
Dwg produces a proof copy drawing window with a bit image copy of the drawing. The bit image is generated by the libraries used during translation. The proof copy might be useful for trouble shooting problem dwg's. It might also be useful when only a background drawing is needed for additional work. In addition the proof copy might be used to identify unsupported hatches or fills or possibly proxy objects.
Line height constants were added for several other supported fonts. Generally text spacing should be more accurate.
Line height constants were readjusted to accommodate very long paragraphs.
Diameter, degree, and plus/minus symbols should be correct in dimension text from dwg.
